Clung to the Cross

May this be our posture towards the cross, clinging to the LORD with our life — not just in this Lenten season, but for all of our days.

That not a single drop of His blood should be wasted; but rather, should cover us.

That not a single ounce of His water should be wasted; but rather, should wash us.

O blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You.

“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’

In the same way, after the supper He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.”
